Privacy policy

1. General provisions

This policy explains what data is processed when you use wm2.com.ua (the “site”) and why. We aim to collect as little data as possible: the site requires no registration and has no forms through which you send us personal information. Google Analytics is used for visit statistics (section 3).

2. What data is processed

Server logs. Like any website, the hosting server automatically records technical information about requests: IP address, date and time of the request, page address, browser and device type, and the page you came from. This data is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse, is kept for a limited time and is not used to identify you.

Calculator data. The numbers you enter in the calculators are processed only in your browser and are not sent to the server. The calculation inputs are added to the page address so you can share a link; they reach other people only if you send them that link yourself.

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (a Google service) to understand how many people read our articles, which pages are useful and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies and collects anonymised data: which pages you viewed, how long you spent on them, device and browser type, approximate location (country, city) and the referring source. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We also see anonymised calculator usage statistics (for example, how many times “Share” was pressed), but not the amounts you entered.

We do not use advertising cookies, ads or remarketing. Analytics data is not sold and is not used to identify you.

For visitors from the European Union, analytics cookies are enabled only after you consent in the banner at the bottom of the page. Without consent, Google Analytics receives only anonymised cookieless signals. To change your choice, clear the site data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all sites with the official Google browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. How Google processes data is described in the Google privacy policy.

Fonts, images and other scripts are loaded from our own server.

Our articles link to the websites of government bodies, regulators and other organisations. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their privacy policies; please read them on the relevant site.

5. Your rights

Under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to know what data about you is processed, to request its correction or deletion, and to object to processing. We do not collect data that directly identifies you, so for analytics the simplest route is to use the opt-out options in section 3.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when new features are added to the site. The current version is always available on this page, and its date is shown at the top.
