How to check a broker in Ukraine: NSSMC licence, fraud signs and what to do if you have already paid
Four steps to check a broker in the NSSMC registers, a legitimate vs fake broker table, foreign licences and an action plan if your money is gone.
The NSSMC is Ukraine's National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the regulator that licenses brokers and lists questionable investment projects.
The National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) regulates Ukraine's capital market: it licenses brokers, asset managers and other professional participants and supervises their work.
The Commission's website has a register of professional capital market participants, where you can check a broker's licence, and a list of questionable investment projects. In August 2026 it contained 475 platforms.
If a company is not in the register of licensees, the NSSMC advises not to trust it with money.
