1. General provisions

These terms set out the rules for using wm2.com.ua (the “site”), run by the WM² - Wise Money Squared editorial team. The site is free and requires no registration. By using the site, you agree to these terms. How the site handles visitor data is described separately in our privacy policy.

2. Information only

Articles, guides, calculators, infographics and other materials on the site are for information and education. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, nor an offer or recommendation to enter into a contract or to buy or sell a financial instrument.

The materials explain general rules and do not take your circumstances into account: your income, debts, goals or tax status. Before making a decision, check the current terms in your contract with the bank or other financial institution, and tax rules on the website of Ukraine's State Tax Service or with an accountant. You make decisions about your money yourself and at your own risk. More in our disclaimer.

3. Calculators

Calculator results are for reference only. They depend on the data you enter and on simplified assumptions, such as a fixed rate, equal contributions or the tax rates in force when the calculator was last updated. Actual amounts may differ because of fees, the terms of a specific contract, rounding and changes in the law.

Calculations run in your browser. The amounts you enter are not sent to a server and are not stored by us.

4. Accuracy and corrections

We take rates, limits and taxes from official sources and recalculate the figures in examples before publication. Sources are listed under every article. However, laws, rates and tariffs change, and an article may become outdated or contain a mistake. Every article shows its publication date and, if it has been updated, the date of the update.

If you spot a mistake or an outdated figure, write to us (contact details at the bottom of this page). We will check it against the primary source and correct it.

The texts, infographics, illustrations, calculators, design and the WM² logo are protected by copyright under Ukrainian law. All rights belong to the WM² editorial team unless stated otherwise.

You may, without separate permission:

  • share links to pages of the site and to calculator results;
  • quote short excerpts, naming WM² as the source with an active link to the page the quote comes from;
  • use the materials for personal, non-commercial learning.

You need written permission from the editorial team to:

  • republish an article in full or in substantial part, including as a translation or paraphrase;
  • use our infographics, illustrations or calculators on another website, in an app, on social media or in print;
  • copy the site's content automatically for republication.

The WM² name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests the editorial team endorses or recommends your product or service.

Our materials link to the websites of government bodies, regulators, banks and other organisations. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, the accuracy of information on them or how they process data.

7. Advertising and partner content

Editorial content is not commissioned or paid for by third parties. If advertising or partner content appears on the site, it is labelled, and links to partners carry the corresponding technical attribute. We do not accept payment for favourable conclusions or places in rankings.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”. We make every effort to keep the information accurate and the site running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions, or that the materials are complete.

To the extent permitted by Ukrainian law, we are not liable for any loss or lost profit related to the use of the site's materials and calculators or to decisions made on their basis, nor for the actions of financial institutions whose websites we link to.

9. Governing law

These terms and any relationship arising from the use of the site are governed by the law of Ukraine.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when new sections or features are added to the site. The current version is always available on this page, and the version date is shown at the top. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
